Before form,
comes the material.

We do not begin with a drawing. We begin with a place, a fibre and the hands that have learned to understand it over time.

Only what possesses origin, character and memory can become a Leverson piece.

CASHMERE01

MONGOLIA

CASHMERE

On the Mongolian plateau, Hircus goats develop an exceptionally fine undercoat to withstand the most extreme winters. Gently collected during the spring moult, the cashmere is selected fibre by fibre to achieve profound, lightweight and enduring softness.

COTTON02

EGYPT

COTTON

Long-staple cotton grows along the Nile, where fertile soil and a dry climate give the yarn lustre, strength and a surprisingly silky hand. We select it for its ability to become softer over time without losing its structure.

WOOL03

ITALY

WOOL

From selected farms in the Apennines, the wool reaches the Biella district, where it is washed, combed and spun according to a textile tradition recognised worldwide. A living material that is thermoregulating and naturally resilient.

LINEN04

FRANCE

LINEN

Between Normandy and Flanders, flax grows in a cool, humid climate that encourages tall stems and fine fibres. Processing preserves the yarn’s natural irregularities, responsible for its freshness and unmistakable character.

VEGETAL SILK05

JAPAN

VEGETAL SILK

Made from plant cellulose through low-impact processes, vegetal silk combines a luminous surface with a fluid drape. In Japan it is perfected with the same precision reserved for the noblest fibres, creating a contemporary and responsible textile.
